PMC was founded in 1990 by Peter Thomas of the BBC and Adrian Loader of FWO Bauch. The combination of knowledge and a life-long passion for the music led to the production of PMC's first product - the BB5-A - an active main studio monitor.

The DB1i is the definitive compact monitor and has a celebrated history with accolades of ‘loudspeaker of the year’ and swathes of five star reviews from all corners of the world from both hifi & professional press. Spec

The TB2i shares many of the remarkable attributes and awards of its smaller brother, the DB1i, in a larger stand mounted form. With its new PMC designed 6 1/2 inch bass unit it allows for higher volume levels, increased bass extension and dynamics, making it suited to both large and small listening rooms. Spec

The GB1i was born out of two award winning PMC loudspeakers, the FB1i and OB1i. The technological advances in ATL™ design in these models provided a platform for the radical GB1i design and the similarities in their sound signatures are clear. Spec

The FB1i was the first wholly domestic model from the PMC stable. From its humble drawing-board beginnings to the present day it has become an audio legend, winning awards on all continents from the leading audiophile critics. Spec

Due to it’s complex ATL™ the twenty•21 has significantly more dynamic grip and depth of bass than any other speaker of this size. It is a very effective musical communicator, with fine warmth through the mid range and a sweet and extended treble. It all adds up to a dynamite design, capable of dominating the compact loudspeaker market by reproducing all genres of music with ease.

An astonishingly natural balance and high dynamic capability are the hallmarks of this speaker. The twenty•22 conveys music in its purest form by utilising ATL™ technology, which provides a high degree of control over an extensive frequency range. It creates a precise sound stage and profound bass performance from a stand-mount cabinet and thanks to its effortless nature can be enjoyed for long periods at high or low level.

Certainly the first and overwhelming impression of the twenty•23 is an open, engaging and communicative loudspeaker. Its size defies both the depth of bass and scale of presentation by taking any music or film material in its stride. The sound is vivid and dynamic and delivered with authoritative bass. Close your eyes and their location dissolves.

There is no doubting the ability of the twenty•24 to project the full scale of the recording in a larger room with complete authority and accuracy. The extended ATL™ technology housed within these slender elegant towers delivers deep articulate bass and is a clear step up in performance with improved resolution in all areas.

The OB1i is the first floorstanding model to employ three precision drivers and a sophisticated hand built 24dB per octave crossover. These factors create a major step up in performance with improved resolution in all areas. Spec

The fact 3 provides the signature fact transparency, ease of drive and fine user controls that allow precise and individual tailoring of its low and high-frequency response, thereby ensuring a superlative sonic balance in small to medium sized rooms and with a vast array of source components. Spec

With the phenomenal benefits of PMC’s ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) technology, the PMC fact 8 floor-standing model produces the commanding power and scale that is capable of filling both medium and larger rooms with awe-inspiring dynamic sound. Spec

The impact, dynamics & sheer scale of the latest addition to the award winning series is breathtaking. Those looking for razor sharp imaging & a gripping presentation in a slim line aspect should look no further than the PB1i. Its ability to resolve every nuance in the mid & high frequencies derives from the combination of a silky smooth PMC/SEAS® developed tweeter & a professionally proven three inch (75mm) soft dome mid-range. Spec

Like the entire series range the EB1i now features the stunning PMC/SEAS® developed SONOLEX™ domed tweeter which brings an new dimension of imaging and transparency to the high frequency region. This transparency is equally reflected in the mid range response which is handled by a huge acoustically isolated soft dome. Spec

The IB2 is based on the hugely successful IB1 with one major change to the driver compliment. The addition of the PMC 75 large soft dome mid range unit increases the definition and clarity to the level of the larger monitors in the range with no increase in cabinet size. Spec

The origins of the MB2 XBDi can be found in the professional active version which is currently the reference for Emil Berliner / Deutsche Grammophon, Berlin. The new passive version features the same PMC hand built 75mm mid range and twin twelve inch Radial™ bass units as the active version. Spec

The BB5 employs much of the technology and hardware of the MB2 and is equally happy in a soffit or in free space. The BB5 offers higher SPL’s and a vastly improved frequency range that extends lower than any other monitor available. Spec

The wafer 1™ is the more compact of the two models in the range, best suited to installations where a discreet and elegant look is all-important, but quality of audio reproduction remains paramount. Spec

The wafer 2™ follows the identical design cues and contains the same intelligent innovations of the wafer 1™The depth of the cabinet remains ultra slim line with small increases to the height and width. This allows for a larger and more robust bass unit. Spec
