About Us

Case study 1. The design brief of our client was to provide an integrated home cinema system that would tastefully blend with the intended decor of the room.
It was decided that the depth of the chimney breast should be increased by 130mm to enable the 50" plasma screen to fit flush to provide a clean look.

PMC Wafer 1 loudspeakers were chosen for the left, centre and right speaker position due their performance and design. The centre speaker (pictured right) is the in-wall version and painted to match the chimney breast. The on-wall version (white finish) were chosen to sit either side of the chimney breast, located beneath the wall lighting.

KEF Audio in ceiling speakers were chosen for the rear speaker location. The speaker grille and bezel was painted to match the ceiling colour and retain a clean style within the room. The speaker positioning provides fantastic imaging and scale.

The light oak veneered furniture conceals the Marantz AV Receiver, Blu-ray player and Sky HD Receiver.
A REL Acoustics subwoofer has been installed to the left of the equipment furniture. The presence of the subwoofer adds depth and increased dynamics to the Home Cinema sound stage.

Case study 2. Home Media received a request to provide a system for the master bedroom. The KEF front speakers were mounted in the ceiling and when the system is in use an in-built motor lowers the front edge of the speaker to point the sound in the direction of the bed.

The system electronics have been neatly concealed in a wardrobe positioned to the right of the television.
The rear speakers are flush mounted in a bridging unit above the bed (click on picture for a larger view). To complete the system a REL subwoofer resides in a corner of the room.

Case study 3.
The challenge was to integrate a high quality large projection screen in to a beautiful grade 2 listed property. This was achieved by hiding the screen in to the ceiling void.
When in use the screen lowers from the ceiling via a discreet 25mm slot.

The SIM2 'DLP' projector is housed in an embroided foot stall positioned in front of the screen. A drop down flap reveals the projector and the image is displayed on the 96" screen.

Surround sound is produced by a compact speaker system hidden within bookcases. The subwoofer has been discreetly positioned inside a tailor made cabinet to blend with the room.

Case study 4.
Our requirement was to build a domestic home cinema of outstanding performance. We produced a design to accomodate a large PMC speaker system hidden behind a 112" acoustically transparent projector screen to complete the surround sound system.

A Sim2 projector was installed on to a motorised platform mounted within the ceiling. At the press of a button, an automated system activates the projector drop, the motorised curtains move back to reveal the screen and the surround system awakens.

The client relaxes in to one of his twelve cinema seats. At a press of a button on the colour touch screen remote control, the lights dim and the movie commences. A simply outstanding experience with stunning images and impressive sound.

Case study 5. Fine joinery and a silent motorised mechanism provide a tasteful solution for concealing a flat panel TV in this magnificent bedroom. Storage space for bedding and a SKY Receiver has been incorporated in to the design.
